Kristen is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. She was the first and only woman to earn BJJ Black Belt Rank under Professor Francisco Neto and Master Fernando Yamasaki i. Kristen is a IBJJF World Champion (2017) and IBJJF Pan-American Champion (2018). Her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu lineage is: Rickson Gracie > Marcelo Behring > Fernando Yamasaki/Francisco Neto > Kristen Allan.
Kristen also holds the rank of Sandan (3rd Degree Black Belt) in Judo. She represented America as part of Team USA from 2004 – 2008. She won many medals nationally and internationally and retired from Judo competition as the number 1 ranked athlete in the country at 63 kilos.
Kristen teaches at our Springfield location.
